Tunning photos in Photoshop + free PSD

Hello,

I'm now learning to make my digital images full of colors, as I've seen in so many great photo montages.

Here you can see my first two :)

I've made this image after reading Andrei's tutorial.

    Model : Irina - deviantart

    Brush 1 :  Sparklies Brushes

    Brush 2 : Smoke Brush

    Stars : Chic Sparkles

    Model : DepositPhotos

    Background : DepositPhotos

    Brush 1 : Nebula Resource

    Brush 2 : Luizalenora

    Light texture : PsdBox

Also, I'll share with you the psd files. I always find it easy to figure out how a photo montage was done by looking at the source file :)

Hope it helps !

Drowning in a light bulb - Photoshop Manipluation

No fish ... let's add people. People don't breath under water (dooh !) so .. let's drown somebody ! After that just add some more elements to the image."

Fun Photoshop Manipultation

Hello,

I found this three images (girl_1, girl_2, girl_3) browsing through sxc.hu files and I had an idea of photo manipulation.

I played with the images in Photoshop and this is the result : (click to enlarge)

Consider this as some quick-tips on how the image was created :)

Step 1

Open Photoshop and create a new document. I used 2936 x 2348 for the size, because I’ll load all three photos in it, one next to another.

Open the first image and place it in the project. Leave it as it is for now.

Open the second image and do the same as you did with first image.

Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool to select a part form the wall and arrange the image next to each other.

Use Free Transform – Perspective to make the images align better.

Open the third image and place all of them as you see below :

Step 2

Next all you have to do is to copy parts from the wall to cover up the blank spaces. Select the layer on the top and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E.

This will create a new layer with all the visible layers merged into it.

After that use Clone Tool and Healing Brush to make the wall look realistic.

Step 3

Open this image and import it in your design. Use Pen Tool to select only the door and Free Transform to reduce its size.

Use Image > Adjustments > Hue / Saturation to make the bricks have almost the same color as the wall.

Place the door as you see here :

Go to the girls layer, take the Burn Tool and burn around the door, to give it some depth.

Step 4

Open another image. Remove the background, select the waves and place it in your project. You need to make it look like the waves are painted on the wall.

Change the opacity of this layer to 55% and for the Blend Mode choose Overlay.

Duplicate this layer and put the wave on the other wall as well. Use Free Transform to flip it horizontal.

All you have to do now is to go back to the girls, take the Pen Tool and select every girl. Copy the girls and place them into a layer above the others.

Step 5

Take this image and import it in the design. Change the Blend Mode to Exclusion and place it behind one girl.

Step 6

Take the flower and place it where you want in the image. Use for this layer Multiply for Blend Mode and 86% for Fill.

Step 7

The final image . Do the same as with the waves, without removing the background. Set for Blend Mode : Overlay, Opacity to 38% and Fill to 44%.

Put this layer under the waves layer.

And this is the final image :

Hope you had fun and learned something new !
